CELLULAR AND VIRAL PROTEINS OF THE CORONAVIRUS REPLICATION-TRANSCRIPTION COMPLEX
Most of the nsp encoded in the replicase gene, together with the N protein and an unknown number of cellular proteins, assemble into a membrane-associated viral RTC that mediates both genome replication and the synthesis of the nested set of sgm RNAs. From these, the key enzymes involved in coronavirus RNA synthesis are the RdRp (nsp12), the helicase (nsp13), and the nsp7-nsp8 complex, which is a possesivity factor for the RdRp.
