Rs3367 showed a particularly high sequence identity to SARS-CoV in several key amino acids residue known to be important for receptor binding. Whole genome sequencing revealed that Rs3367 and RsSHC014 shared more than 95% genome sequence identity with human and civets SARS-CoV, which was remarkably higher than that of any other bat SL-CoV (76 to 92%). Regarding individual genes , the amino acids sequence identity between Rs3367 or Rs SHC014 and SARS-CoV was higher than 96% in ORF1a, 1b, 3a, 3b, E, M and N genes.
